Coated Duplex Board is a type of boxboard with a glossy coated surface on one side for superior printability. It is mainly made by recycle pulp and paper, so also named: Coated Recycled Board (CRB) in some market.

This product is typically used as packaging material for small boxes that require high quality printability, such as consumer electronic products, cosmetics and other consumer merchandise. It can also be used in combination with high performance corrugating medium and linerboard for the outer layer of corrugated board.

Coated Duplex Board Grey Back is the main material for gift box printing jobs. It is wrapped by surfacing paper on grey side, and the white side is inside of box, so it is not necessary to apply lining paper any more, which could save much production time and costs. But for some deluxe gift boxes, the lining paper could also be applied to make a colorful inner of box. The thickness is normally above 0.5mm for gift boxes.

As a paperboard made of recycled paper pulp, Coated Duplex Board Grey Back has one side coated white color, and another side uncoated grey color. The side coated is available to print full colors, another side uncoated is also okay for printing, but the result is not good because of uncoating and coarse surface. The base weight of Coated Duplex Board Grey Back is 230gsm - 500gsm and 0.5mm - 3mm thick.
